Assignment One: the aesthetic ME
- Take a black and white photograph of an empty space where you work. Why is this a beautiful photograph?
I believe this photograph is beautiful in the way the lighting is different giving a light feminine feel as opposed to something dark and gloomy even thought the photo is in black and white. Just by looking at this you instantly know it is a girl’s bedroom and have a good insight into her personality type; laptop, printer and workbook suggest a University student, combined with a personal touch of magazines, ornaments and photographs. The empty space on the far wall keeps the space from looking too busy and cluttered, although also balances the photograph with objects on either side.
